Sckipio Named 2015 Leading Lights Finalist

Ramat Gan, Israel, May 11, 2015   −

Sckipio Technologies, the leader in G.fast modems, announced Light Reading editors have selected Sckipio as a finalist for the prestigious Leading Lights award in the “Outstanding Component Vendor” category.

Sckipio was selected for the introduction of the world’s first G.fast modem chipsets, which fundamentally changed how telecom service providers can deliver 1Gbps ultra-broadband Internet access to bandwidth-hungry customers – at the lowest cost per megabit.

“We are honored that Light Reading has recognized Sckipio’s continued innovation,” said David Baum, co-founder and CEO of Sckipio. “We were the first to announce real G.fast silicon, 16-port G.fast vectoring, reverse power feeding, UHD TV running over G.fast, and EMS and PMA G.fast support.”

Vendors nominated in this category were chosen because they stand out from competitors, innovate constantly, help set the industry trends, make investors proud and keep employees happy, according to the award criteria.

Leading Lights award winners will be announced at the Leading Lights awards dinner on Monday, June 8th at Chicago’s Field Museum.
